Protocol—COming soon

This program is designed to teach you the scientific method and how to apply N=1 research in your own life.

N=1 research utilizes crossover designs to compare effects of different treatments or placebos in one person (i.e. with-in subject). This is opposed to population based science which is decent at creating general guidelines but lacking when it comes to measuring or predicting individual responses to an experiment.

This program focuses on manipulating and measuring key aspects of metabolic regulation—blood glucose and ketosis; and secondarily to evaluate the way that these responses affect your subjective experiences of memory, cognition, energy levels, mood, etc.

I will act as your research mentor and guide you through the scientific method and your own N=1 experiments.

This includes:

-1.5 “office hours” per week, where we can meet to discuss any ideas, concerns, questions you might have

-guided educational materials and videos

-data and measurement PDF and video

The curriculum is as follows:

Module 1) Overview of the scientific method and N=1 research

Module 2) Research question(s) and hypotheses.

Module 3) Experimental design & measurement

Module 4) Implement your experiment and gather data.

Module 5) Statistics and data interpretation

*I am working to create partnerships so that future clients can receive discounts on measurement devices.*
